Brock Lesnar

The UFC is one of the greatest and toughest sports out there with boxing and football. The president of the UFC Dana White turned this business into a million dollar industry. It started off small but now look where it’s at. They have new shows called the Ultimate fighter where they bring in young fighters and train them like a UFC fighter would. They compete for a six figure contract with the UFC. Throughout the battles they have to fight their way to earn this spot. It’s a bone crushing extravaganza and exciting to watch. They have fighters from lightweight and welterweight. Some of the best fighters in the UFC range from Chuck Liddell, Ken Shamrock who has already retired, Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture, Matt Hughes, and the list goes on.

But one of the newcomers that has jus signed a contract with the UFC is none other than the pro wrestler Brock Lesnar. Brock was signed with the WWE as a pro wrestler and all of a sudden he disappeared. No body knew where he went or what had happened with him until we all so him in the UFC. Everybody doesn’t believe that he will make it as a UFC fighter but Dana White thinks differently. He believes that Brock will make it because of his style and physique. He is well built for a fighter, has great stamina and of course we all know he is a tough competitor. He was a great athlete in the wrestling business. He always gave it his all as a wrestler and I believe he will give it his all in the UFC business. He is an all American wrestler and a former NCAA champion.

The 6 foot 3 ½ , 265 pound Lesnar first made a name for himself as a wrestler at Webster High School, with a 33-0 record in his senior year. This success eventually led him to Bismarck State College and the University of Minnesota, where he was a four-time All American, two-time Big Ten Champion, a second place finisher in the 1999 NCAA Championships, and the 2000 NCAA National Champion. He also landed a spot in the NFL on the Minnesota Vikings. He made his first UFC debut on June 2nd 2007 and it only took him 69 seconds to destroy Min Soo Kim with strikes that led to a submission. This was a spectacular fight for him because he made a first impression on all the fighters that he is able to compete in the UFC. We all await now his next fight and we are looking forward to seeing him fight. Good luck Brock!
